Dear IF-riends, even if we are proud sponsor of the Italian cooking, we are also curious about different tradition. A long history of trade, conquers and encounter with other population teach us that you can always learn something from the culture you had been in touch. Especially if we are speaking about food!

That’s why today here we are with a classic Anglo-Saxon recipe, a triple deck sandwich a.k.a. “Club Sandwich”. We love each ingredients of this evergreen dish: the eggs, the tomatoes, the chicken breast gives a different feedback to our palate at any bite. So we decide to pay tribute to its long success re-interpreting it, adding a special classy touch that transform the sandwich from a cheap, popular meal into a royal, stylish recipe.

Using the Royal Truffle Sauce instead of mayo, we are sure to provide you with an intense taste experience: as you already know, truffle is a perfect match with eggs and it will steer the flavor of the chicken without doing hours of work.

Easy, quick, exquisite.

Ingredients for 2 club sandwiches

200 gr of Royal Truffle Sauce by Acqualagna

6 slice of sliced bread

250 gr of chicken breast

50 gr of lettuce

50 gr of red radicchio

2 eggs

1 tomato

Extra virgin olive oil

Salt and pepper

Rosemary leaves

Prepare all the ingredients. Wash and dry the lettuce and the radicchio. Cut them in slim stripes and put them in a dish. Do the same with the tomato. In a bowl, beat the eggs and add salt and pepper. In a pan, pour a wire of extra virgin olive oil and fry them until well-cooked. In another bowl, put the chicken breast and add some drops of extra virgin olive oil and the rosemary. End with a sprinkle of salt and pepper and let it marinate for 5 minutes. Then, on a hot grill, cook them for 5 minutes on each side (until the inside loose the pink). Once cooked, cut them into stripes.

Make the layers. Toast the bread and, using a knife, spread the Royal truffle sauce on the inside. Add the lattuce and the radicchio, then put on the chicken breast. Cover with another slice of bread, again spread the sauce and fill with the tomatoes and the eggs. Cover with the last slice of bread. Get your favorite flag and serve to your friends. Enjoy!
