Over ten thousand people gave their farewells to Michele Ferrero, the inventor of Nutella at his funeral held at the Ferrero factory in Alba. Listed by Forbes as Italy’s richest man with a net worth of US 26 billion, Ferrero was the owner of the most famous chocolate company in the world. Italian President, Sergio Mattarella, honoured Ferrero stating that “Ferrero was always ahead of his time, thanks to innovative products, his tenacious work and reserved character.” Among his most famous products know throught the world were the splendid Ferrero Rocher, the Kinder Surprise and the much loved Nutella.
Difficult to interview "Mr. Michele", as he was know to his employees, preferred "to do" that "to talk". His products were created from his passion of work and attention to detail.
